Can I edit the site myself someday?
Not directly — there's no dashboard. But you own the code. You can hand it off to anyone, anytime — a future developer, a web team, your tech-savvy nephew — and they can pick it up and run with it. Nothing's locked behind a platform you'd lose access to.
Can I switch to a different web designer?
Yes. The code, content, and domain are all yours from day one. No vendor lock-in. Any web developer can take over and keep going. We'd hate to see you leave — but we won't make it hard.
How fast are updates, really?
Most small updates — text, photo swaps, hours, prices — go live the same day you send them. Bigger changes like new sections or pages usually within 48 hours. You're texting or emailing a real person, not opening a ticket.
What about payments, bookings, or email signups?
All work fine on a static site. We integrate Stripe for payments, Calendly for bookings, Mailchimp for email lists, and similar tools as you need them. You won't be running a full e-commerce store from here — but for most small businesses, that's not what you need anyway.
Why not just use Wix or Squarespace?
